Digital Label Printing from our Konica Minolta C71cF Digital Label Press

In November last year, Soabar became business partners with Konica Minolta when we purchased their C71cF Digital Press for our digital label printing department. We are the first company in England and the 2nd in the UK to have this piece of equipment, which started running in January 2017.

By purchasing our first digital label printing press, we aim to create a more convenient way of ordering and printing labels for our customers. There will be a shorter turn around time from the moment that you place your order with us, as we are now able to operate a ‘computer to print’ based system. Instead of using more traditional printing plates, the C71cF Digital Press will operate much more like a larger version of your standard printer come photocopier at home. This will allow us to print your labels straight from a computer file containing your artwork. It also reduces the possibility of any registration issues in the printing process, as the C71cF printer does not use printing plates. Smaller orders will have shorter run lengths, translating into faster delivery times.Images will be crisp and of a high quality, and labels can be personalised and versioned. 

We are excited to be working with Konica Minolta, an internationally renowned company specialising managed print services, production printing solutions, laser printers and photocopiers, as well as software and technologies for the public, commercial and corporate business sectors. Purchasing our first digital press is an exciting
new step for us, and has resulted in the opening of a new Digital Department at our offices in Leicester.  We hope to be able to create a more efficient in-house printing process, which will translate to the improvement of the services that we already offer to our customers.
